AM - 10 Green Springs/Warm Springs.  It has been nice to catch an extra few minutes of sleep this week.  Run was a bit better today.  Tried to hit 3 Tinman, but wasn't totally on.  Took the dog around.  Wore a new pair of Saucony Triumphs (I know... Saucony - but they felt good).  (Triumph 10)

Hit 2000 for the year this morning - I wonder how long it took me last year? June 27th.

afternoon - 10.  Same exact thing as yesterday afternoon.  (Cumulus gold 362.15)

That Steve can sell Saucony thats for sure.

Well it's easy for him to sell Saucony when there are no Asics in the store. When a man needs shoes you get desperate.

I hear you!

I can tell you how long it took me to hit 2000 miles last year about 11 months. Way to go Dave!

Hey, what is wrong with Saucony? I love 'em!

From Dustin on Wed, May 13, 2009 at 10:47:18 from 204.113.48.69

I think he was really hoping for some Nikes right Dave?

I still remember the day you tried to kick me off Pine View's track because I had a pair of old Nikes on. You should be pleased I've converted to Asics.

At least I've been a good missionary in one way in my life!

I hate asics. Don't fit well at all on my feet. Prefer NB, Brooks, even those Saucony that you guys seem to badmouth.

From dave holt on Wed, May 13, 2009 at 15:10:22 from 204.113.55.41

Asics are the only way to go! Although I did like the one pair of Mizuno I tried - just wore out WAY too quick. I'll let my judgment of Saucony hold until after I try these triumph for a little; but I hated the other pair I had (Paramounts). And I also didn't like the NB I tried once; maybe I should give them one more try. But I always think, "Why? When I know Asics will always be good."

I've had some good and bad experiences w/ Nike. I love my ASICS and Saucony. The Sauconys are my dirt shoes.

Oh, I almost forgot. Brother Holt turned me on to the ASICS.

I have liked my Brooks Glycerin so far, but still mainly run in Asics
