AM - 7 DogPound with Trail and 11th extensions both ways. Nice morning run. I think the legs are responding well to the shorter mileage this week. Hopefully they will be nice and fresh for Saturday. (Landreth 363.5)

noon -5 Sandberg's Pond.  Sneaked out during lunch and got my 5 in.  No big deal, just warm.  (Cumulus red 251.6)

Good luck in the race this weekend. I almost want to drive up and watch you guys. We may be up to Cedar tonight to watch the race. Then I'll do my run up there if we come.

Is anyone else from down in Dixie coming up for the 1/2? I'll look for you at the start. Hopefully I can stick with you for a while, but I don't know since you have been running 31:00 10Ks this summer!

James - you should probably start with Chad and trade leads. Adam Wende might be around to help. Dave - you should go out with me if you are feeling good. I am going to run this at the end of a 115 mile week, so that would make me not want to start out too fast. I do not have a particular goal for time or place other than to get in a hard 13 mile tempo - it is not a circuit race, there is no prize of significance (I keep telling Curt to fix that but he does not listen), and this year Glen did not put the Provo River Half on the list of bonus races. If you are interested, we can trade leads every quarter. James - finding other runners in the crowd will be no problem. There is not much of a crowd in that race by 0.5 mark.
