afternoon - 9.25 2xmile.  Decided to go home and run my workout, but on the way home the Jeep died - it is almost 25 years old I guess.  Hopefully not a huge deal.  So I ran over to my parents' to have my dad help tow it home.  Then went from there around the Parkway and into Sienna Hills to warm up.  Hit the Dirt Mile and did 2 miles of Tinman and started to get the legs moving.  Decided 2xmile at around 5:30 would be a good start.  Did a 5:25 and :24 with 3 min recovery.  Felt good, had to work a little which was good.  Cooled home and a mile with the dogs.  (Adios 246)

What is the life expectancy of a 25-year-old Jeep?

RIP, Jeep.

25 years is a heck of a run! I'm hoping to get to that point... in 10 more years!

For all those concerned... Basically Rob, Jake and my 13 year old who thinks the jeep will live long enough that she can take it to college! The jeep is back on the road!

I was also going to congratulate you on your 9:25 2 mile until I managed to decipher that first line.

Rumors of the jeep's death were greatly exaggerated. Glad to hear it's still ticking. On to 35!

Rob... I think I'll go after the 9:25 next year!

Although, we do a relay meet down here and host an open 1600 in it - my goal this year is to hit the 3A state qualifier which will be around 4:32. I don't know if I have the wheels (or the desire to hurt enough to get the wheels) to hit that though.
