AM - 6 track. 4x1000 with a couple of the girls with some warm and cool at a good solid Tinman pace. I like this workout with this pace for a Monday morning. It kind of gets the old legs moving for the week without killing me. (Ronin 341)

afternoon - 4x1600. DI/warm and cool as usual and weights after. The workout was solid; not as easy as last week, but probably better all around (although Abel beat me each time today!). Went 4:57, :58, :57, :56. Not too shabby, 4 sub 5's. I'll take 'em. I kept finding it interesting that I was telling myself the same thing I would be yelling to the kids about keeping up, not letting a gap develop, pushing a section and pushing mentally. AM - 7 Lutheran/AC.  Nice morning run.  Felt pretty decent.  (Boston 1079.25)

afternoon - 8.5 GS.  Didn't plan on running the team's workout today... but it was super windy, so I changed their track workout to a fartlek with the wind down the hill.  It was a very fast push with all the help and we were all beat by the end.  Weights after.  (Mana 590.5)

AM - 7 Lutheran/AC.  Another nice run; legs held up decent from the harder push yesterday.  Pretty chilly today with ice on the windshield when I left.  (Free 907.2)

afternoon - 4.5 Nisson's.  I guess I should change the name of this loop - the kids called it Fire Station, so that fits fine since there is no Nisson's anymore.  (Connect 707.5)

Early AM - 12 Target loop. Couldn't sleep, so I finally just went out for a run a little after 1:00am. Run wasn't bad at all. Thought about different things including the idea that if I wasn't so tied down with track, I wouldn't mind pushing a strong 10k cycle out and see what I could do there. But that won't happen, so I'll just keep on doing what I am doing. (Kinvara silver 338.75)

Just another week of the grind.

Goals for next week: really no goals. Just enjoy my running when I am doing it. It will be interesting to see what I can get out of the old legs in the 1600 on the track on Tuesday.
