AM - 3.25 Hurricane Pioneer Day 5K. Ran with Laney and Elin ran with Ally. Laney is a good runner, but needs to learn to dig deep when it hurts. So we made our goal to not walk. It was tough, but she made it and ran her best 5K - we finished at 32:20. I was very proud of her. Then I turned to go join Elin and she was on the home stretch!  She can dig deep. (Peg blue 522)

AM - 9.5 Twix/Half & Half. Rainy, Rainy! A beautiful rain storm all night and morning long. The world was saturated - and amazing!  Ran 3 with Twix and then a half & half including some striders. Felt great because of the cool weather. Ended with a killer game of ultimate. Everyone was slipping everywhere - especially me. And Decker took me out like a beast!  Started with abs. Only bumma was no kids club - which normally would be fine, but it was the final day, so we have to reschedule. Kind of a pain. (Barefoot '17 24)(Adios 476.75)

afternoon - 2.75 AC. No weights for me. Really aggravated my wrist on the multiple falls during frisbee. The run wasn't bad. Wasn't raining anymore. Bumma. (Rider 735.25)

AM - 11.5 Twix/Grass. Abs then the pain of my legs. Another super sucky morning on the achilles. Took the whole 3 miles with Twix to even start and feel decent. Workout was a pace workout on the grass at the elem. kids did real well. The cool really hurt a lot. (Cumulus 346.5)

morning - 8 Dino Tracks. Abs and walked with the dogs (hoped it might stretch out the achilles in a less painful fashion than the morning run - it did a bit, but they were so wasted from yesterday that there was still a lot of pain).  Anyway, ran Dino from the Millcreek side and then extended under the tunnel. He new shoes were okay. Good for achilles, but did slide around in my foot a little. I am going to wear the tomorrow, too. (Boston 8)

afternoon - 2.75 DI. Limited weights (actually benched the bar and it didn't put too much pressure on my wrist) and then an extended version of the DI Loop. Summer is hot. (Peg blue 524.75)

AM - 14 Fields. Walk with the dogs the practice. Long run from the double churches in the Fields. Went out past Stone Cliff and Little Valley; then checked out the progress on the new high school and worked out way back. Just a good solid pace throughout - probs around 7:10. Then a fast finish for 15 to bring the ave down around 7. Was good until Nicholl's Hill. Then I had flashbacks of Logan and Clyde pulling away on tempos. Stayed near'ish the guys and hit 14. Pretty impressive that hs kids would be able to put that kind of run together. (Boston 22)

morning - 6 Parkway. Achilles were really hurting as I woke up. So I passed on going out with the boys. Walked with the dogs for a bit and then Twix and I continued on our run. Left achilles felt okay, but the right was wretched. However, it warmed up in about a mile and I was able to enjoy the rest of the run. Twix was tired, so I called it with the loop, but I should have headed down with the guys. It just takes some time and the pain usually cools off. (Peg black33 312.75)

Week was pretty good. Enjoyed a few good runs.

Goals for next week: camp week which always wears me out. So enjoy and have a great time with the team and then the fam.
