AM - Big Workout #3 4x4min CV - 14 Green Springs/Treadmill.  Warmed up with 8.25 into Green Springs and on Molly's Mile.  Then finished with .75 on treadmill before the workout.  Felt much stronger than last week and could tell things were going to go well.  Workout wasn't bad at all.  Ran the first three at 5:15 for three minutes and the last minute at 5:10; then the last one at 5:13 and 5:07.  Nice to be able to go fast and feel good about it.  Recovery was 2 minute jog in between.  Cooled down with just 1 because I didn't want to do 2.  (Stratus black 487.9)(Old Ohanas -5.75)

AM - 8 Harts/AC/2450.  A nice cool run.  Legs felt pretty good - no real pains or aches.  (landreth orange 473.7)

AM - 5 AC/DI.  A nice easy 5 this morning.  Temps are great out, but my allergies are crazy right now.  Hip has been feeling great; just a little bit of ache in it this morning.  (Triumph 293.3)

afternoon - 8 Shinob Kibe.  Went out on the rollercoasters with the boys.  Ran Molly's Mile.  (Stratus bee 761.45)

AM - Big Workout #2 15 mile Progression - Junction.  Ran out past the junction to Winkel.  Warmed up for a few, then took it to 7:00, 6:30, 6:00 (sub).  Felt good.   Molly's Mile for cool.  (Stratus grey 323.6)

evening- 5 Sego Lily.  5 Mile loop with the boys in Salt Lake.  (Landreth blue 104.7)

morning - 3 Granite Hills Park.  Ran up to the park and then ran 1.5 barefoot (2 laps). 

evening - 4 Eagle Island State Park.  Ran the Bob Firman course and then did striders.  (Landreth blue 109.2)(barefoot '09 166.65)

morning - 10 Boise River Trail.  Great run from the hotel out and back on the river trail in Boise.  Run average was 6:30.  Things felt great, didn't push hard, just felt very good.  Ran by the fallen firefighters memorial and stopped for a little - that brought back a flood of memories and emotions from my 10 years fighting fires.  Trail was neat, Boise was very pretty and the temps were awesome; most people had gloves and long sleeves and I was cruising in shorties and shirtless!  (Landreth blue 119.2)

Finished the week feeling very refreshed.  Haven't had too much time to dwell on the race, with so much going on with XC so that has been nice.

Goals for next week:  Race Week!  Just keep healthy, get rest, and let it all click!
