AM - 21.5 Quail.  One of those super-early mornings, to get the run in before a meet.  Temps were still above 90 at 3am, but did finally cool off by Harrisburg with a little breeze off the mountain.  Ran okay, put a little pickup in to 6:30-45 for a few miles and down the hill (.75 miles) at 5:15-30 to work on some quicker downhill at the end of a long run.  Extended through Coral Canyon and my neighborhood, then ran Molly's Mile.  Hip didn't have one ounce of pain.  (Landreth orange 413.7)

Another strongish week.  I think my marathon speed is finally starting to come around, but it is going to take the full cycle up until SGM to be fully prepared.

Goals for next week:  next week should actually be a bit of a breather compared to this week (two meets, back-to-school night for the girls and for me, first full week of school, and workouts), so I think I'll just keep on trucking along - hit a couple good Big Workouts and a long run probably on Friday morning.

Nice early morning workout. If your running long on Friday next week plan something and I'll try and come.

Ok thanks Coach! I should be able to get back into things with college starting.
