AM - 11.5 Parkway/Mav. What a crazy night... Everyone in my house was sick and puking all over each other - epic! Ran the Parkway with some extension before practice and then over to practice, the warm up and then a 30 minute run and home. Never really felt great this morning. I probably have a touch of what Ry and Py had, but obviously not as bad as those sickos. Great first day of practice; now the challenge - keep as many as possible of the 65 that were there coming out, and hopefully snag a few more key people. (Barefoot '14 15)(Ronin 383.75)

noon - 6 ND. Short turn around, but I had a nap and the girls wanted to go swimming, so I told them they could before I went running or after and they chose after. So I took advantage of a light cloud cover and the not as hot day to get the run in. Stomach still off a bit. (Landreth blue 1102.9)

AM - 10.5 BV/Tortoise Fence. Just a slow easy run before practice. No reason to go any quicker. Then a decent 30 min run up into the desert for practice. First day of Kids Club; glad that's over. (Kinvara Lime 463.75)(barefoot '14 15.5)

afternoon - 30 min pool run. Just trying to make sure I don't do too much too quick as I bring my mileage back up, but I still need/want to do something. So there it is.

AM - Clyde's (tempo)/DogTown. 4 mile tempo with Logan this morning. And other than denting his car like a nube, it was a good morning and good starting tempo. Hit 5:45 ave for the 4. Lots of room for growth! Then 35 min with the team, covered 4.66, I hear, and that put us at the usual 7:30 average. (Barefoot '14 16)(HyperSpeed 2 489.5)

afternoon - 4.5 Dirt Mile. Just didn't feel good all day - super tired and groggy and my stomach was just not sitting well. But I finally got out and decided to just stay only Dirt Mile so I could jet home (or walk) if necessary. The further I went the better I felt actually. But I decided to still cut it since I had run a lot this morning. (Boston 1100.5)

AM - 11.5 Highland/Grass. Pretty decent run up Highland all the way to the park and back before practice. The mornings are so great right now; I wish they would stay that way even when it warms up. Then barefooting on the grass. The city is turning our normal field into a cemetery, so that is a bummer. So instead we ran laps on a baseball field - more laps per mile, but goo grass. afternoon - 6 ND. This sounds wierd, but I am getting too many miles and I kind of forgot how quick the miles add up. So I'll take the afternoon off tomorrow and hit the pool if I feel like it. And the temps aren't too bad and that helps things too - 100 isn't nearly as hot as 105, and 105 is nothing like 110, and then 115; a bit too warm there. (Stratus black 1110.45)

AM - 12.5 DogTown/Fields. Started off very slow for the morning - barely beating the 9 min guy for the first two. Not hurting or anything, just slow and sleepy. But toured the town and just enjoyed it. Then got down to practice where we ran 40 mins (that actually turned into 44) with a strong finish and listened to Trevor bawl about high school. AM - 19 Fields. Logan and started off at my house and tied in with Steven, Haydn and Aaron down at Sullivan Park. then we hit into Clyde out in the Fields. Not enough zip in the legs for a tempo or anything. Just kind of a decent pace throughout. Hit 6:40 for the first 17, the Logan and I chilled/struggled back up the hill to my house to finish it off. Felt better throughout tha. Last week, but like I said not a lot of pep in the legs. It will come though. These have have been a few good building weeks in a row. (Kinvara silver 396.5)

Mileage kinda climbed on me even with two afternoons off. I guess it is a good thing, since I made it through the week and feel pretty decent.

Goals for next week: Make sure I keep the mileage between 85-90, so as to not climb too high too fast. Looks like a two workout week, so we'll see how that goes.
