AM - 3.75 Sunrise.  Slept in today until practice.  Head cold is still setting in pretty strong.  Will use a few more days of easy and recovery to get centered body and mind.  (Lyte33 110)

afternoon - 6 GS.  5 very easy miles up into Green Springs today.  Had a workout scheduled for the team, but I could tell they were tired - and they ran like it today.  Finished with 8xbarefoot striders.  (Barefoot '14 44.75)

Fell behind in blogging, so I don't remember my shoes for most of the rest of the week.

You know, as far as your workout yesterday and my comment goes, one more thought.

I have this run I do every now and then on Saturday. Goes up Emigration Canyon to the top of Little Mountain and then through East Canyon finishing at the golf course there. I'm always puffing by the golf course at the end and I see the golfers, laughing and joking, motoring around on their little carts, drinking their frosty cold beverages from coolers on the back,

Not sure where I'm going with this except to say whenever I see that I wonder why I chose this crazy sport!

Down here The Circle wonders the same thing. For us it is usually with all the ATV's and stuff that we see heading out as we finish up a 20+ miler on Saturday morning. Life would seem so much easier spending my time cruising around on a 4-wheeler!
