PM - after track meet, headed from PVHS up to GreenSprings and ran on the golf course for a while then home. The temps. were perfect at 8:00 and running on the grass was great. It brought back a flood of cross-country memories. High school cross-country was one of my happiest times. I loved the sport, my team, my school, winning, running fast, dominating. I really learned a lot about life from that sport - good and bad. One of the few regrets in my life is that I didn't transition that to college. Once I got there I only focused on the bad and let it overwhelm me to the point that I quit after 1 1/2 years. Oh well... just another lesson learned. Anyway, the run was very enjoyable. Running did a lot for you in high school apparantly, and just think about what you are doing for us xc and track kids. Just a thought.
