afternoon - 11 3x1600.  Warmed up with Austin on the Fire Station desert run (6).  Then I got into my miles.  They really weren't that great.  1-5:22, 2-5:23, 3-5:30.  No matter what I tried I couldn't get under the 1:20/lap.  It's like I was stuck there.  On the third one, I kind of just lost my drive on the final two laps, but was at 2:40 for the 800.  I can't get too down on it.  But at the same time, I really should be quicker.  Over the last three weeks my 1000's, 2000's, and now 1600's have all been stuck at 1:20/lap pace.  I think the turnover is just gone.  Cooled down with DI.  (Stratus black 66.25)

Good job Dave, even though you weren't hitting the times you wanted to at least you are out there doing some tough workouts. I probably won't attempt any speed stuff until after the new year, I'm still pretty unmotivated when it comes to running.

My lack of motivation is only morning related right now! Everyday after school I am ready to go out and do something (even hard workouts), but in the morning it is a NO GO!

Good job on the miles. All I can say is I'm glad it's you and not me. I'd be lucky to hit 5:40's and thats a fact.

"The cheese is old and moldy." !

It took me a second to put this together and then I realized that I just watched it the other night. That's one of the best lines in the whole movie.
