morning - 14.65 Green Springs/Shoe. Took Green Springs route to practice and then we ran Shoe (new name for Mosquito/Staheli/Sandberg) and then brought it home and took dog around. (Stratus black 240.1)

afternoon - 10.9 Bracken's Loop.  One of my all-time favorite runs - but also one of the hardest runs.  A lot of sand (pretty much the whole thing) and a ton of climbs.  But away from everyone and everything with a lot of amazing rock formations.  In one of the dry stream-beds, some water surfaced for about twenty feet and was running and starting to pool in places.  It was nice and refreshing.  (Landreth  700.75 - first pair of shoes ever over 700)

Is that the sand-hill run you sent me on that one time? That thing killed me!

Sounds like you have some awesome routes to run.

Dave,

My leg is still attached! It is feeling light years better though. I still have some slight tightness high in the groin area but it seems like I am getting better. Knock on wood!!!

How in the bleep do you get 700 miles on a pair of shoes? I get close to 300 and I can tell. I get all sorts of leg/knee/hip issues. I guess its a good thing Im rich so I can buy new ones all the time.

A lot of great trails down here. Keeps me really enjoying running - even when it is on a beast like Sand Hill (huh Ruth!) or Bracken's.

These Landreths seem to just keep going and going. Kind of nice.
