AM - 17.25 Snow Canyon/SGM run. Good group run this morning. Ran from store and climbed up through Snow Canyon then down the course back to the store. Ave was 7:13 again. So finally another one under 8:00. Logan was nice enough to just sit back with me as we watched the Bull pull away. Got some blisters on my left pinkie toe - not sure what happened there. But a good end to the week. Got some good solid mileage and at the same time let the legs recover from the 50K. (Stratus 448.85)

Goals for next week:  Hit mileage right at 100.  Bring in a couple speedier workouts with 300's on Monday and 800's on Weds.  to prep for the upcoming 10K / 1/2 marathon season.  Keep working my core exercises each day and do at least 3 days of pool running.

Thanks for the note! I have been looking at your blog and am so impressed! It will be fun to learn from you and all the other talented runners. I am the slow poke granny in the back, but loving every minute of it!!! I am excited about coming down to ST. George and doing the Red Mountain again, it was the Best! Dogtown??? Where is that? Are you a skateboarder too?

Dave, Great week. I really like your plan. It seems like you have everything geared towards a great great year. I like the addition of your pool running. Is it your own pool or do you have to go to a public gym? I'm looking forward to Ragnar in a few weeks! My knee felt much better today and pretty much felt better each day this week. I think the downhill racing at Magna tweeked it a little but I just took some easy miles and kept it iced this week and that always seems to help.

Leslie, Dogtown is what we "locals" call Washington (down by St. George). I joked with my kids at school that the movie was based upon my childhood!

Adam, we just got out pool finished up this spring. So it has been very nice to go out and enjoy it whenever! Sometimes that downhill running just beats the ol' body up - but the fast times are worth it! See you in a couple.

Thanks for clarifying! I grew up in S. Ca. and my brother was in the film Dogtown, thought we might have a real connection! Happy Running!
