morning - 12.25 Bracken's Loop.  Another nice desert trail run.  Went with Steven up through the sand on Brackens' Loop then ended with Molly's Mile.  Felt pretty good.  These trail runs put a lot more time on the legs than road runs.  (Triumph 769)

Solid recovery week.  With some nice time in the dirt to end the week.

Goals for next week:  One more recovery week.  No need to push it with State XC this week, use the time to get my own legs back and focus on the team.

Lap swim: 15 minutes - first time I have been swimming in a long time.  Felt very good.  Had wanted to swim after the marathon, but it was just too cold (unbelievably after the heat on race day).  Pool was just a little chilly, but who is to complain when you are swimming outside in mid-October.
