morning - 18.5 Quail Creek.  Headed out in the brisk morning w/ James.  A decent run throughout.  My gut really started giving me some problems at the end and my hips were hurting most of the run, but we did 7:00 minute pace for most, not including the bigger hills and just enjoyed it.  Good end to the week.  (Stratus black 84.75)

Week was pretty solid again.  Race with the boys was a lot of fun, snow running was good, decent mileage on a long run, and kept the pain to a minimum.

Goals for next week: enjoy Christmas w/ the fam., continue to help the hip flexor/abs heal up, have a solid 1000 workout.

Stratus Black Miles: 18.50

What's your next big race Dave?

From dave holt on Sat, Dec 20, 2008 at 18:45:52

Well... I am planning on Painter's, but don't really know what to expect as the mileage and what not isn't as great as last year. I would like to (and am trying to) develop some speed - so I am keeping the miles lower - and make the spring basically a couple good 1/2's. Any suggestions on which ones I should try to schedule in?

What about you? Clyde said you are running Painter's... still planning on it?

From paul on Sat, Dec 20, 2008 at 19:54:25

Yeah, I'm still planning on Painters. My mileage is pretty moderate right now, but it's more of an excuse to get out of Logan in January. I might also do a half marathon in March in Sacramento while visiting family, but am not sure on that yet.
