I was never so happy to see a fat green ankle as I was last night.  Things loosened up considerably throughout the day and I decided to give it a try this morning.

AM - 5 Washington Loop.  Took it very easy and cut the mileage in half just to be careful.  Only a little pain, but nothing significant.  I'm sure I'll be at full strength tomorrow - whatever that is.  (Cumulus orange 377.3)

Glad to see you were able to run this morning and your ankle looks ugly. Hopefully a couple easy days and you will be good to go.

Good to hear. I'm not sure of what time you have things going on-on Thursday morning. But if you could squeeze in a run I'd like to maybe do something. I'll be out of town the rest of this week and most of next, so I'd like to hook up where we can.

I find that external damage injuries heal a lot faster than the running overuse ones.

Don't over do it. It is close to taper time. A little extra taper is better than a sore ankle on race day. You have had a great "Summer of Dave".
