Today was the first day in a few that I actually wanted to run - but I couldn't. I envied Clyde when he came to the track meet and talked about the race. I wish I would have been there to push him a little.
I am now ready to run next week.

Welcome back Dave. The week off will not hurt you at all. start slow and do not over train. that means no freak runs of 24 miles at one time. You could donate your GPS to a old slow runner:):):) That would make you feel alot better!!
