AM - 20 SGM Course.  Was late getting to the group so I went to the finish line and ran up the course 10 and then back down.  I wasn't planning on hitting anything major, but if I felt good I would give a little push.  After about 7 miles up I started to feel pretty good and thought about a solid progression run down the course, but as soon as I turned around any hopes of that were gone.  My legs were pretty dead and about 6:00-6:30 was all I could muster - but I never really tried to break through it because I figured there was no real point.  (Triumph silver 350.8)

Another solid week.  The hip was disappointing after the 5K, but felt much better today (just a twinge of pain).

Goals for next week: once again more of the same.  Want a solid workout Tuesday and then try to get a good 10K in at Des. News.  It would be fun to run a fast 10K time again.

Great week Dave. You're sure to do well @ Desnews. Good luck!

Sorry we missed you Dave. Could of used you to get through the run today. In true Holt fashion you choose to run UP the course. Thats why your the man and were not worthy. (I am typing this on my knees bowing)

Wow Dave, All on singles? Jeez!:)

I tell you Steve, these singles are really helping my hip out. The mileage isn't bad in one run a day, and the rest (although it is tough for me to sit around all afternoon wanting to run) has really given it time to improve.

Mike, I don't think I would have been helping you guys today; it would have been the other way around.

JD was kind enough to tell me at 10am this morning that you would be by at 4am to pick me up for the run. Thats some good message passing there.

I thought I would see you at the BC hmarathon yesterday. It was blazin' hot by the time we got down the hill.

Hopefully, I can get out to some of the xc meets this year to see how all the kids do.

Meet at Clyde's tomorrow at 4:45 so we can start running at 4:50. I have to be home by 7 tomorrow so Katey can get to girl's camp. Let James know.
