AM - 8 on Treadmill at 1%. Drago was an intimidating site today as I have not had to use him much all summer (except when Al was in NY). Added to the dread of the treadmill was my youngest deciding that it was okay to be up at 5 and with Mom gone to the gym that meant I was supposed to do something. So she came and laid on the floor next to me for a few minutes. That ended and she started to get into everything and I just needed to be done - not quite ready for 10 with Drago yet, but I guess I better get there quick. So I just ended it at 8. (cumulus orange 299.25)

afternoon - 8 on River Run.  Not as bad as yesterday's 109, but 105 and 8 miles don't mix well.  Got pretty hot and dipped my shirt and head into the river just before I got back onto the road for the last 1 1/2 miles.  I'm a little worried about my kids starting hard afternoon practices because it seems hotter than last year.  (Landreth 371.5)

Feel like I will pick it up tomorrow with some hills and then tempo on Thursday and some speed Friday with a long run Saturday some time.

Drago? = treadmill? Great job on the miles so far this week. have you found that you have to adjust alot after running that far on the treadmill then going back on the road.

Dave,

I would love to run St. George this year if possible. I have a work conflict with TOU and St George would also give me more time to get in shape. If you know anyone that has an entry they would like to sell or any other way of getting a late entry any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes Bill. He constantly tries to break me.

Keep up the great work. Like you said, we are ready to rock and roll for St. George.

To answer the 2nd part of your ? Bill, it was a little bit of an adjustment after I had run 100 miles in a week all on the treadmill. But just 1 or 2 runs in a row don't really throw me much.

I put in the course tool an accurate version of the CV XC course, earlier I was trying to explain to you how we DON'T go around the whole baseball field, but you can see it now. The elev. stuff still is broken, but Sasha's trying to fix it, so cross your fingers!
